Wow. Lots of things happening, not much blogging happening. An inverse relationship, I suppose.
Anyway, lets back up to the end of summer. Sugar and I went on an awesome adventure to the San Juan Islands and camped out for a couple of days. We hit the sweet spot right when it wasn’t very crowded but the weather was still awesome. We hiked around a bunch and got fantastic views EVERYWHERE! We stayed on San Juan island the first night and saw WHALES!! Cool. Then we spent the next day on Lopez.
Since then, the term has started, I am doing Calc I and Prob/Stat this term. Both are going great, I think, although some difficult midterms may have soured their mood a bit. Whoops. But I’ve gotten to talk about ::Monty Hall:: and ::Birthdays:: and ::Pizzas::.
I have a couple of classes lined up already for next term. Forward momentum. I’ve been biking to work, too. That has been awesome. The weather is starting to get cold, so its definitely a way to wake up in the morning. Here is the noble steed of a math cowboy:
I’ve been continuing to play a whole lot of music, more than ever before. Some with the usual groups, some with new ones. Here is a video of me with Cadillac Lunch at UW’s fancy members-only club. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMtzTUK8fO0
Also, I’ve been seeing a lot of music recently through Earshot (Industrial Revelation, Joshua Redman, Pharaoh Sanders, Dave Liebman) as well as the Bad Plus and the Two Man Gentleman Band.
Sugar and I have been adventuring around Seattle also. We were super fancy and had dinner at the top of the Space Needle. We went to the zoo the other day, too. Yeah!
